YST-48X MWD

YST-48X Mud-Pulse MWD was designed to be adaptable to meet varying needs of hole dimensions, flow rates and other drilling requirements. The Positive Pulse System with minimum moving parts extends downhole life, simplifies maintenance and offers low resistance to flow ranges from 9.5 to 55l/s. The downhole assembly is modular and retrievable, which ensure easy handling and maintenance. The probe power requirement is low, providing better operating economy and longer battery life. It is suitable for all hole dimensions, employing collar size from 3-1/2'' to 8''. 
The system consists of a Downhole Probe that gathers and transmits data, a Transducer that monitors the standpipe pressure changes (mud pulses), a Remote Data Processor that decodes and displays the data received from the Transducer and a Near Data Processor that provides power to the surface system and displays the data synchronized with the Remote Data Processor.
